Bud Light - CANCELLED

This week trans-phobic conservatives are outraged at the iconic American beverage - Bud Light. Seriously, I kid you not. Conservatives are out to cancel Bud Light. Dylan Mulvaney is a trans influencer who publicly documented her transition on social media. To honor her 365th day as a woman, Anheuser-Busch sent Ms. Mulvaney a custom commemorative can of Bud Light with her face on it. Just one can, to one person to celebrate a personal achievement…. and to sell more beer. That’s it.

However, Conservatives, lead by the inimitable Kid Rock, have called for a boycott of Bud Light. Ironically, Kid Rock’s boycott/protest efforts began with buying cases of the Bud Light, then shooting them with an automatic weapon (Yes. He is a living breathing caricature). He must not realize that a boycott involves not buying a product, but no one has ever been impressed by Kid Rock’s grasp of the English language. After all, his most famous lyric is “Bawwitaba da bang da dang diggy diggy said the boogie said up jump the boogie.”

Let’s be clear, trans-phobic conservatives are mad that Bud Light had the audacity to acknowledge that a trans-person exists. Trans-phobic conservatives are pissed at a corporation for trying to sell beer to the LGBTQ+ community. Kid Rock, Travis Tritt (truly an embarrassment to all Travis’) and other conservatives are true cancel-culture icons.

This is what the ridiculous culture war has devolved into. Trans-phobic snowflake Conservatives will now protest if corporations acknowledge the existence of trans-people. Corporations will now be cancelled by the trans-phobic, cancel-culture kings if they dare to try and sell their products the LGBTQ+ community. In other words, the trans-phobic, cancel-kings will boycott if Corporations try to sell their products to humans who do not fit the mold of what a trans-phobic, cancel-king believes a human is. The needless hate is truly astounding.

I do not normally drink Bud Light. But I may crack one open now…. mmmm… tastes like gender-affirming healthcare…. and beer flavored sparkling water.
