Gov. Ron DeSantis is a true warrior for Cancel Culture. He boldly moved forward to cancel Disney.  For real: Disney = Cancelled.

Gov. DeSantis signed this law called the “Parental Rights in Education” bill, some people call it the “Don’t Say Gay” bill.  Disney came out and in its mild-mannered way expressed opposition to the bill.  So, Gov. DeSantis, being a cancel culture true-believer, exercised the power of the State of Florida to cancel Disney.  Gov. DeSantis did not just use the bully pulpit to shame Disney for daring to believe that LGBTQ+ people should not be erased. No, that was not enough for Gov. DeSantis. He mobilized the power of the State of Florida to cancel Disney for believing the LGBTQ+ are people too, and its ok if kids know they exist.
